I quote this artist to express the urgence of my situation, mostly to myself, I feel like I am at a crossroads in my life, and I'm not sure which path to travel down, either could end my life sooner or later.  I'm not sure what else to do, but pray for absolution, an answer, something to guide me, I thank the lord for everything, my life, my children, as sad as it all is sometimes, and the joy that you permit on occasion.  

What I am asking from everyone is for you to pray for the lord to save me.

Please let the power of prayer prevail above all.

I don't know about P.A. but I do know that in N.Y. there are many different resources that will help you get on hud, and even the department of social services can help you with rent, bills, and food if you need.  Plus I think if you live in N.Y. if you are on SSI, I think that you you would get an increase in your disability payment. 

If you ever change your mind and decide to move to NY instead of PA let me know and I'll help you find what you need. 

P.S. ~ Don't get too down on yourself, these are tough economic times for everyone, take pride in  the fact that you are doing the best you can for you and your son.

First off your son is adorable, he looks very well taken care of, and you seem like a great mom....

I have 7 boys of which 4 are my own and 3 are my fiancee's w/ his ex, so if anyone understands your situation, I do, and wish I could be of more help, but I can offer you a couple of tips that might help. 

I don't know if you've tried yet, but your local department of social services website is:

if you go to that site it says under the headline Families; Financial Assistance on the right hand side of your screen if you click on that than it will take you to the Job & Family Services / Financial Assistance page, once there, right under the headline on the left side of the page you will see Application For... click on that and when you read down that page it tells you about what you must do to obtain services that will help you in this time of need, at the bottom of the page it will have various different application links, click on: Request for Cash, Food Stamp and Medical Assistance

When you apply the best thing to do is to take your application back a.s.a.p. and tell the office that your water has been shut off, and that you need immediate help getting back on because you have a child in the house. (That way if you do end up talking to children's services, you are trying to get it taken care of)  I hope this helps.... :)

On a final note, just let me say, god does have a plan for all of us, not quite sure what he is thinking sometimes, but I do know that if you are strong you will pull through anything he puts you through, I hope you get better, and I hope that you get the help you need.

Britt's *Thought for Today*

Hey everyone out there in computer land ! lol Well I've got a whole new deal... I have been struggling for years and I just need to catch a break, well I did... My side front tooth broke in half and now when I look in the mirror its worse than before, to top it all off I can't find a dentist that can sedate me during the procedure, and accept my insurance! 

Seeings as I am a psychotrip before this happening I can't get over it I just keep thinking why me, why do I always get the short end of the stick?  I am one of the few good people with morals and values left in this world and somehow Bad Karma keeps smacking me in the face like I deserve it...

I have a strong feeling that all of this will lead to my early demise... but hey at least if I die I can still hope to be reincarnated as something that is well cared for and respected.

Who knows maybe I'll come back as a beautiful flower in some nice old lady's prized flowerbed.

Everyone gets tired of life just remember its a lot easier to deal with when you have a little hope and faith to pull you through. I hope things get better for you. Just remember to try to Smile no matter how hard it gets, laugh at your situation no matter how hopeless it may seem... things will get better they always do for those who truely believe they will... You both will be in my prayers... Don't give up... I have faith in you and I hope that you will be alright.
